Music is as popular as ever and this is due to the talents that entertains us both through the airwaves on the radio and live onstage in venues across the country. Artists not only write the songs, they also perform them and show off their talent for us all to enjoy.

The internet has also helped musicians gain prominence. Established artists will use it to promote their work whilst new and upcoming acts can use it to establish a fan base. It has meant that new musical artists have been able to get an audience in a way those of the past could only dream.
